With an Equitas Tire & Wheel Protection Plan, you can drive with confidence knowing that unexpected tire or wheel damage won’t leave you stranded or facing costly repairs.

What’s Covered

When Tire & Wheel Coverage is selected on your Application Page, Equitas will:
1. Tire Coverage
- Pay for or reimburse the repair of a damaged tire
- If the tire cannot be repaired, cover the replacement with a comparable tire (same or similar quality)
Replacement Guidelines:
- If the original tire is discontinued, a comparable tire of similar construction and quality will be provided
- If you choose a higher-priced replacement, you are responsible for the price difference
2. Wheel Coverage
- Pay for or reimburse the replacement of a damaged wheel
- Replacement will be with a comparable wheel of like kind and quality
Replacement Guidelines:
- If the original wheel is discontinued, a similar quality replacement will be provided
- If a higher-priced wheel is selected, you are responsible for the price difference

Coverage Conditions

  • Coverage applies to manufacturer-installed (OEM) tires and wheels, including factory options
  • Tire failures must occur during usable tread life (greater than 3/32” tread depth)
  • Coverage is secondary to any other tire or wheel warranty (including manufacturer or retailer warranties)

What Is Not Covered

  • Road conditions in construction zones (e.g., unpaved roads, metal plates, uneven surfaces)
  • Damage caused by accidents (should be handled through your auto insurance)
  • Any exclusions listed in your specific contract
